Choose a model

Each agent run uses the model you set on that agent. Chat has the same kind of choice.

Set the agent model

  1. Open the agent, then Model.
  2. Choose one Orbitype model. Every run of this agent uses it.
  3. Turn on Third-party models only when you want one of those.
  4. Save.

Orbitype models run in the EU. Light work is about half the credits of Build & Ship. Long threads is about 2x. Careful checks is about 3x. Build & Ship is the default.

Third-party models are Claude Sonnet 5.5 (Global, about 7x), GPT-6.1 Sol (US, about 12x), and Grok 4.7 (Global, about 5x). They run outside the EU and cost more. Turning the switch off returns the agent to Build & Ship if a third-party model was selected.

If this fails: the agent still uses the old model

Save the agent after you change Model. A run that already started keeps the model it started with. Start a new run. In Chat, third-party models are a separate switch. Turning them on for an agent does not turn them on for Chat.
