Publish an app

• Private is only you.
• Members is people in the workspace.
• Public is anyone with the link.

Copy the share link from the app. For a public app, copy the embed snippet if you want the app inside another site.

A form or a calculator is the same kind of app. Build the fields in the document. Send the values to a server action. The action writes a row or returns a number.

For a public app, open Workspace settings, Domains, and add the hostname. Point the DNS record where the screen tells you. The domain serves that public app.

1. Open the app settings.
2. Set visibility. Private keeps the app inside Orbitype. Members gives a standalone link to people who are logged in to this workspace. Public opens for anyone with the link.
3. Choose Copy link for Members or Public.
4. On a public app, choose Copy embed. Paste that iframe into the other site.
5. Open Versions to restore an earlier save. Delete asks Really delete this version?. Save description is optional and labels the next save.

You should see Copied! after Copy link or Copy embed. A public app is the one a custom domain can serve. Members and Private still ask a visitor to sign in when they open the standalone link.

Members and private apps require a workspace login. Set visibility to Public before you share the link or the embed. A custom domain also requires Public, and DNS plus SSL must show active on the domain row.
