Publish a template

Publishing puts your components on a Store page that other people can install.

Create the template

  1. Open My Templates and choose + Template.
  2. On Contents, add at least one component. Unassigned lists components that are in none of your templates. The other tab lists components already used in another template.
  3. On Details, set the template name and the short description. Fill the public page sections, including the setup guide. Generate with AI can draft them from the components you selected. Read the draft and correct anything it invented.
  4. On Publish, set Audience to Store or Only me.
  5. Save. Store uses Publish template. Only me uses Save template.

You should see the template under My Templates. Store audience appears in Templates for other people. A cover image dialog may open. Generate a cover, or close the dialog. Closing it still saves.

Public page sections

A Store template needs every section filled: Setup guide, Audience and situation, Problem and current solution, Benefit and outcome, How it works and what's included, Use cases, Differentiation and credibility, Cost and usage, and Conversion and objections. The setup guide is the procedure the installer follows after Install. Write the connectors, credentials, and the apps or workflows they must open. Leave prices out unless you have a real figure. The template install is free. Usage in the workspace spends credits.

Private components become public

Audience Store publishes the template and any private component inside it. The page lists those components and asks you to confirm: I understand these private components will become public when I publish this template. After that, those components are public on their own pages too.

Audience Only me keeps the template private. A private template can hold private components. Switching to Only me removes public components from the selection. Delete template removes the template. The components stay in My Components.

If this fails: Publish template stays off

  • Please add at least one component to this template. Go back to Contents.
  • Template name is required. Fill it on Details.
  • Fill every public page section (including the setup guide) before publishing. Open each section that still says Needed.
  • Finish all three steps before publishing. Open Publish once, even when you edited an older template.
  • Confirm that private components will become public before publishing. Tick the checkbox, or set Audience to Only me.
